Physical capacity, planned around the workload

Dense GPU racks change the facility conversation: power density, cooling redundancy and network fabric become the constraints long before floor space does. We start from your workload forecast and work outward to the facility.

Capacity is a sovereignty decision before it is a facilities decision. We help you secure the physical layer without pretending that a floor plan is a strategy.

  • Capacity forecasts tied to model size, utilisation and growth assumptions.
  • Power and cooling designs reviewed for dense GPU rack density.
  • Network fabric planned for east-west training traffic and tenant isolation.
  • Commissioning evidence and an operating model handed over together.

Capabilities

From forecast to operating capacity

The workstreams required to turn an AI roadmap into contracted, usable capacity.

01

Capacity forecasting

Translate model plans into GPU, power, cooling and space requirements over a multi-year horizon.

02

Dense rack design

Rack layout, power distribution and cooling strategy reviewed against the GPU node profile you intend to run.

03

Network fabric

East-west fabric, management network and tenant separation designed for distributed training and inference.

04

Physical security review

Access control, CCTV, visitor handling and hardware chain-of-custody reviewed with the facility operator.

05

Commissioning

Power, cooling, network and GPU burn-in tests with written acceptance evidence before hand-over.

06

Operations model

Incident, capacity and change-management runbooks agreed between your team and the facility operator.

Process

How capacity is secured

A planning and delivery sequence that keeps commercial commitments behind technical evidence.

  1. 01

    Forecast

Agree workload assumptions, growth scenarios and the minimum viable capacity for the first phase.

  2. 02

    Select

Evaluate in-country facility options against power, cooling, network and security requirements.

  3. 03

    Design

Produce the rack, power, cooling and network design, including failure-domain and redundancy decisions.

  4. 04

    Commission

Install, test and document the environment against the agreed acceptance criteria.

  5. 05

    Operate

Run capacity reviews, incident management and change control under a defined operating model.

Use cases

Capacity patterns

Representative programmes that need AI-grade physical capacity inside Malaysian jurisdiction.

National AI programmes

Shared sovereign capacity for public-sector agencies with tenant separation and auditability.

Regulated enterprise

Dedicated AI capacity for institutions whose data cannot leave their control boundary.

AI service providers

Wholesale capacity for teams building sovereign AI services on top of the infrastructure.

In-country resilience

A second Malaysian location for recovery and continuity without a cross-border failover.

Controls

Sovereignty controls

The physical and procedural controls that keep capacity under Malaysian jurisdiction.

In-country facilities

Capacity is contracted inside Malaysia. Cross-border replication requires explicit written authorisation.

Controlled access

Physical access is logged and authorised; customer hardware and media are handled under chain-of-custody procedures.

PDPA 2010 alignment

Processing, retention and access procedures are mapped to Akta 709 obligations.

Audit evidence

Commissioning, access and change records are retained for review by your auditors.

FAQ

Questions about data centre capacity

Do you own the data centres?
We contract AI-grade capacity through in-country facility partners and operate the GPU environment inside it. The contract names the facility, the power and cooling envelope, and the operating responsibilities of each party.
Can you guarantee a specific power density?
Power and cooling are confirmed per site and per design after a facility survey. We do not publish a single density figure because the achievable envelope depends on the building, the cooling plant and the rack layout.
How is physical access controlled?
Access is role-based, logged and tied to a change or support ticket. Customer hardware and storage media are handled under documented chain-of-custody procedures.
Can we visit or audit the facility?
Facility tours and audit access are arranged under the terms of the contract and the facility operator’s security policy. The scope and notice period are agreed in advance.
